May 2025 - With the recent rise in scams and phishing attacks, it is important for you to stay alert and avoid falling prey to their tactics. These malicious actors will attempt to impersonate Tokio Marine Financial Advisers (Singapore) Private Limited (“TMFAS”) and/or Tokio Marine Life Insurance Singapore Ltd. (“TMLS”). Please note that we will never ask you to provide or share your Policyholder Portal User ID, Password or One-Time Password (OTP) over the phone, email or SMS. This is confidential information and should not be shared with anyone.

For example, phishing scams can appear in the form of a fake email that looks like it was sent by the organization, requesting you to click on a link to either verify your account, receive an incoming payment or prevent deactivation of your account. Clicking on the malicious link could:

  1. Lead you to a fake website asking you to input personal information, e.g. user account credentials.
  2. Download malicious software (malware). This malware might appear to be a legitimate app, which then prompts you to input personal information and send it to cybercriminals.

Do NOT click on links or shortcuts from unknown or suspicious senders without first verifying their authenticity. You can check whether the individual is an appointed representative of TMFAS by searching his name on MAS' Financial Institution Representatives Register (“FIRR”).
